These Terms of Service govern your use of SwapASet, operated by Swap A Set LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
LEGO is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize, or endorse this site.
Free members may browse and post sets but cannot earn or spend Brick Credits or receive sets.
Swapper members pay $4.99 per month or $49.90 per year and receive full access, including earning Brick Credits immediately when a LEGO Set is posted, 1 bonus credit for each 5-star rating received, and the Complete Set Guarantee.
Brick Credits are value based. The number of credits a set earns, and the number required to request it, is determined by the set's official retail price: Brick 1 (under $50) is 1 credit, Brick 2 ($50 to $99) is 2 credits, Brick 3 ($100 to $199) is 3 credits, Brick 4 ($200 to $399) is 4 credits, and Brick 5 ($400 and above) is 5 credits.
Credits are awarded to Swapper members immediately when a set is posted and made available to other members. A member may request any set requiring the same number of credits as their balance or fewer. There are no join bonuses, monthly bonus credits, or referral credits.
Retail price is sourced automatically where available. Where automatic pricing is unavailable, the member enters the retail price and is responsible for its accuracy. SwapASet may correct an inaccurate retail price, adjust the credits awarded, and apply strikes for repeated or intentional misstatements.
Credits earned for posting a set are not removed if that set is later removed or swapped. Repeatedly posting and removing sets to accumulate credits without completing swaps is prohibited and may result in credit reversal, suspension, or termination. When a member cancels, credits are saved and held until resubscription. Credits never expire.
SwapASet only permits listings of complete sets that meet all three of the following requirements. First, the set must contain all pieces as specified in the official Rebrickable parts manifest for that set number. Second, the set must include the original Lego box in reasonable condition. Third, the set must include all instruction booklets, either original or printed from Rebrickable at rebrickable.com/instructions. Sets missing any pieces, the original box, or any instruction booklets may not be listed until those items have been sourced. If pieces are missing, members may order replacements at lego.com/en-us/service/replacementparts. If instructions are missing, members may download and print them free at rebrickable.com/instructions. By checking all three confirmation boxes during the listing process, the member certifies under penalty of account termination that all three requirements are met. Misrepresentation of set condition is a violation of these Terms and subject to the strike policy.
SwapASet offers a Complete Set Guarantee exclusively to paid members. If a paid member receives a set with missing pieces despite being listed as complete, SwapASet will order replacement pieces from Lego up to a maximum of $5 per swap transaction. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of confirmed delivery with photo evidence. One claim per swap transaction.
Members who send incomplete sets receive strikes:
Strikes expire after 12 months of good behavior.
The first 500 members who join SwapASet lock in their rate forever, provided their membership remains active and in good standing. Rate locks are forfeited upon voluntary cancellation or account termination for violations.
Members may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Disputes shall be resolved in Hennepin County, Minnesota through mandatory AAA arbitration.

SwapASet facilitates the swapping of genuine, second-hand LEGO products between members under the first sale doctrine. Members retain ownership of their sets and are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings.
